Collection and Release of Information: SCEL employs reasonable measures to ensure the privacy of information it gathers during your visit to any of our webpages and Players' Club (if you choose to provide the additional information requested on that page) and other sites sponsored by SCEL. SCEL does not collect "personal identifying information" as defined in S.C. Code Ann., §§ 16-13-510(D) and 30-2-300 (et seq.) from visitors passively viewing its content. "Personal identifying information" is a person's first name or initial and his/her last name combined with any other data element that can be used to personally identify the person (i.e. SSN, birthdate, bank or credit card number, driver's license number, etc.). However, even if you view our content without actively providing any information, SCEL captures certain information about your visit which does not identify you personally. Code Ann., § 16-13-510(D) for retailers enrolling in the Retailer Zone, visitors enrolling in the Players' Club and/or visitors entering electronic second-chance drawings, the information is redacted and/or encrypted. E-mail addresses or other information obtained as a result of interacting with SCEL will be used to respond to your inquiry, to provide you with requested information, or to enhance or benefit SCEL and its products. If you make an electronic entry as part of a second-chance promotion offered by SCEL, certain information will be maintained by contractors operating on behalf of SCEL. The information you provide will not be disseminated to other third-parties except as may be authorized or required by South Carolina law (e.g. S.C. Freedom of Information Act, S.C. Code Ann., § 30-4-10 et seq.). The information you provide will not be sold to other third-parties. To the extent SCEL collects "personal identifying information" as defined in S.C. Code Ann., § 16-13-510(D) for visitors enrolling in the Players' Club and entering electronic second-chance drawings in any specialized second-chance promotion not restricted on one instant ticket game or terminal generated game, the information entered is redacted and/or encrypted. E-mail addresses or other information obtained as a result of interacting with SCEL will be used to respond to your inquiry, to provide you with requested information, or to enhance or benefit SCEL and its products. If you make an electronic entry as part of a second-chance promotion offered by SCEL, certain information will be maintained by contractors operating on behalf of SCEL. The information you provide will not be disseminated to other third-parties except as may be authorized or required by South Carolina law (e.g. S.C. Freedom of Information Act, S.C. Code Ann., § 30-4-10 et seq.). The information you provide will not be sold to other third-parties. Accounts that have been inactive for a time to be determined by SCEL may be removed at SCEL's sole discretion.

To the extent SCEL collects "personal identifying information" as defined in S.C. Code Ann., § 16-13-510(D) for individuals participating in communications through third-party sites affiliated with SCEL (social media sites), the information entered will not be redacted and/or encrypted. E-mail addresses or other information provided as a result of interacting or communicating with SCEL through third-party sites affiliated with SCEL (social media sites) will be used to respond to your inquiry, to provide you with requested information, or to enhance or benefit SCEL and its products. The information contained in the communication you provide will be public and may be viewed and disseminated by other third-parties. The information contained in the communication you provide will not be sold to other third-parties. However, the control and use of any information you provide by and through communications with third party sites affiliated with SCEL (social media) may not be under the control of SCEL. Retention of Information: The data SCEL collects about you from its website is maintained until no longer needed for reference and then deleted or destroyed as specified in our records retention schedule.
