Below are a list of frequently asked questions about Collect & Win

  1. How does the Cruise for Cash Collect & Win Promotion work?

    A. You can collect cruise symbols on your iPhone, iPad or computer. On your iPhone or iPad, you must first download the Cruise for Cash app and then scan the barcode on your qualifying FLORIDA LOTTO® ticket. Or, you can enter the 19-digit ticket number from qualifying FLORIDA LOTTO tickets on http://www.flalottery.com/collectandwin.do. When you collect all six symbols on any of the three game cards you will earn one entry into the next available Cruise for Cash Collect & Win drawing. See the Quick Guide for full details.

  2. What Florida Lottery tickets can be used to enter the drawings?

    A. Only FLORIDA LOTTO® purchased from 2/16/15 - 4/14/15 are eligible for this promotion including Florida Lotto tickets associated with a jackpot combo.

  3. I've entered or scanned a ticket but it is not showing up in the 'Entries' table?

    A. Single tickets do not constitute a drawing 'entry' -- entries are generated after a six symbol card is completed. Each ticket entered or scanned will randomly generate one symbol and that will be placed on the next available space in any of your three game cards.

  4. I registered to play but never received my confirmation email. How can I complete my registration?

    A. Please check your spam and junk folders in your email client. If you do not see the email in those folders, please send us a message at support@collectwin.com and we will activate your account for you.

  5. The scanner on my phone isn't recognizing the barcode. How do I get my ticket entered?

    A. The scanner is sensitive to light. Try to move the ticket into a lighter room. Also place the ticket on a flat surface, rather than holding it in your hand, to avoid movement or shaking of the image. If the barcode is smudged, damaged or otherwise illegible, it could affect the registration of the scan. If that is the case, enter the ticket number manually at http://www.flalottery.com/collectandwin.do.

  6. How many tickets will it take to generate an entry?

    A. Depending on the random selection of the symbols, you could generate an entry with as few as five tickets or as many as thirteen tickets. Duplicate symbols are added to the next available card until three of the same symbol have been generated. If any symbol is occupying a space on all three cards, it will not be generated again until one of those spaces opens up again.

  7. I don't have an iPhone or iPad, how can I enter my tickets?

    A. If you don't have an iPhone or iPad, you can manually enter your tickets at http://www.flalottery.com/collectandwin.do.

  8. Do I have to hold on to my tickets to claim any prizes?

    A. No. You are not required to retain your tickets. However, all entries are subject to validation by the Florida Lottery and may be disqualified if eligibility requirements are not met.

  9. How do I scan the QR code?

    A. You will need to use a QR code scanner. You can download download a QR code scanner app for free from iTunes by searching for QR code scanner.

  10. I don't have access to a computer. How can I enter my tickets?

    A. You can log into your registered account from a public computer at your local library. Just remember to log out after you are finished using a public computer. Computers are also available in Lottery district offices for the purpose of entering tickets into our Cruise for Cash Collect & Win Promotion.

  11. Why can't I mail my entries in?

    A. While the Florida Lottery does offer promotions from time to time that do not require a computer, the Cruise for Cash Collect & Win Promotion requires the player to enter their ticket numbers using a smartphone, tablet or a computer.

  12. Which ticket number do I use to enter?

    A. The 19-digit ticket number located just below the ticket price on your FLORIDA LOTTO® ticket. You can see an example of the number location on the Entry page of this site.

  13. My username and password do not work. What can I do?

A: Username and passwords are case sensitive. Please make sure you enter them exactly as you entered when you registered. If you are still having problems, please visit the Contact page of this site to request additional help.

FLORIDA LOTTO tickets associated with JACKPOT COMBO will not contain a QR code or entry instructions. After the app is downloaded, the player will be prompted to register his or her contact information and will be sent an email directing the player to confirm his or her registration. The player should check the junk mail or spam folder if he or she does not promptly receive an email confirmation. Thereafter, the player may login using his or her email address and password. 3. How to Earn Entries.
    1. To collect cruise symbols and earn entries into a drawing, a player may scan the barcode on the bottom of a FLORIDA LOTTO ticket using a camera on a smartphone or tablet, or a player may manually enter the 19-digit ticket number located above the bar code on the entry page at http://www.flalottery.com/collectandwin.do. One of three play cards will appear on the screen. Each play card contains six spots. Each ticket number entered will randomly generate one of five cruise play symbols and place it in the next available spot on the next available play card. The Florida Lottery logo is a bonus symbol on each card. Once a symbol has been collected on all three play cards, the symbol will be eliminated from the random selection process. When a single play card is filled up with all five different cruise symbols and one bonus space (Florida Lottery logo), an entry is generated into the next available drawing and the play card is reset to capture more symbols towards the next entry. A player will earn an entry with a minimum of five tickets to a maximum of thirteen tickets scanned or entered. Partially completed cards will carry over to the next entry period. A player may earn multiple entries during the contest period; however, a player may only manually enter or scan up to two hundred tickets per day. Each ticket number can only be scanned or entered one time. Entries that include tickets with invalid ticket numbers or tickets that have been canceled will be disqualified from the applicable drawing or drawings. The odds of winning depend on the number of entries in each drawing. All entries are subject to validation by the Florida Lottery and may be disqualified if eligibility requirements are not met. FLORIDA LOTTO tickets should not be mailed to the Lottery. Tickets received in the mail by the Florida Lottery will not be entered into the Promotion and will not be returned.

To be eligible to earn a free cruise symbol, a player must first scan or enter a FLORIDA LOTTO ticket, as described in paragraph (3)(a) above. Thereafter, the player may click on the "Invite Friends" button on the entry page to open the player's Facebook friends list. The player may select friends and invite them to participate in the Promotion. For every ten invites the player sends, he or she will receive one free cruise symbol. A maximum of thirty friend invites may be sent and a maximum of three free cruise symbols may be earned during the span of the Promotion.
